The aim of this study was to examine the effect electron beam-irradiated barley on performance and some physiological parameters broiler chicks. Treatments were (25% 50% diet, raw irradiated at 40 kGy) control diet that used with five dietary treatments in a completely randomized design. Irradiation decreased negative effects weight gain during entire production phases level 50%. Relative breast increased birds fed 25% compared those (P < .05). relative gizzard as well lengths duodenum, jejunum ileum higher .05) other treatments. Broilers had lower cholesterol triglycerides concentrations barley. ileal apparent digestibility nutrients caecal population Lactobacillus broilers It is concluded irradiation seems be an effective procedure improve chickens when are high levels
